I have recently had an experince that left a very bad taste in my mouth. My car was impounded and when I went to pick it up, there were MAJOR parts missing (e.g. the radiator, battery, some other stuff) I was in lines about this all day, eventually recieving no recourse whatsoever. One thing I did learn though, was that this is not an uncommon occurence at all here in our fair city of broad shoulders, I am planning on making a big thing of this, but I NEED YOUR HELP!!! If you have ever had anything stolen or damaged by an impound lot, please send me some info.

When this happened
Were you helped in any way in recovering your property?
If not were you compensated in any way by the city or by the impound itself?
